How long have you been in the real estate industry? I joined Watson Realty Corp after obtaining my real estate license in 2002.
What made you decide to become a realtor? After over 30 years working in healthcare, I was caught up in a corporate re-organization/downsizing. I saw an ad from Watson Realty Corp that asked “Tired of working in the corporate world?” My first full year in real estate I was Watson’s Rookie of the Year and closed over 5 million dollars in sales. I am blessed to have been one of Watson’s top agents annually since then.
What differentiates you from other realtors? I view each customer as a lifelong relationship, not just a commission check. I work hard for my customers and believe in living the golden rule of treating others the way you want to be treated. I’ve also developed a successful marketing plan over the years that I utilize for every listing to maximize a home’s visibility in the market.
What piece of advice would you give someone looking to buy a new house? Find a REALTOR that will guide you through the process and assist you with negotiations. Trying to buy a home on your own can be difficult, stressful and could end up costing you more.
What is your favorite thing to do in Jacksonville, FL? I enjoy spending time with my wife, daughter and 2 granddaughters as well as being an active member of my church.
